    But say I have a salad for lunch with chunks of tofu on freezing until dinner time unless I also eat some bread or something fatty like cheese along with my salad.

    But spacing def is a factor. If I have a snack within an hour before bed I can hardly sleep because so cold. I try to eat lots of small-ish snacks rather than major meals and that seems to help. But anytime I try to cut back on bread or dairy (major calorie dumps), super cold.

    Hey its okay! one you did just finish “fat season” Christmas and New years where your lucky not to gain weight and yes if your in reasonable shape to begin with you will gain more muscle weight to then as your muscle increases you will begin to burn down fat. otherwise look at other systems of checking your progress. I dont focus on my weight I watch my inches lost or gained in my problem areas. Sometimes I am up ten pounds but down two inches!
